Learn how to produce one of humankind's greatest inventions—cheese—with an exclusive catered cheesemaking reception from L'Oca d'Oro. Located in the Mueller Town Center in Northeast Austin, L'Oca d'Oro is an Italian-inspired celebration of family, community, and sustainability. All of L'Oca's dishes are prepared with local and sustainably-grown produce and meats—a reflection of a farm-to-table philosophy that extends to their handmade pastas, cheese, salumi, bread, vinegars and liqueurs. With this impressive commitment to quality and craftsmanship, it's no wonder that The Austin Chronicle ranks L'Oca d'Oro as one of its top 10 restaurants in the city. When guests enter the space, they'll be invited to enter their appointed room and order drinks from a call bar. L'Oca's Chef Fiore Tedesco will then lead your group through a 30–45 minute long process demo of how to make several cheeses like mozzarella, straciatella, burrata and/or ricotta. Once the chef's demo wraps, your attendees will be served a composed mozzarella dish from the restaurant's menu and the host's choice of either small, shareable plates or a full family-style dinner to conclude the event.
*Event may take up to 2.5 hours with family-style dinner option. Option for private room for groups under 12.
