Interactive cooking class with the chef at Alexis Hotel
You've never experienced a five-course meal quite like this before: treat your guests at the Alexis Hotel for incredible fare and a cooking demonstration by esteemed Chef Eric Rivera. Having spent three years as Director of Culinary Research Operations at acclaimed Chicago restaurant Alinea, Chef Rivera has the passion and skill set for teaching, cooking and storytelling. Guests will not only eat up mouthwatering cuisine, but also mingle in the cozy confines of this luxurious hotel. Upon arrival, guests will enter the Alexis Hotel and follow signage to the private Library Bistro. Once there, the group will be seated, and servers will take drink orders to get the evening rolling as Chef Eric Rivera will begin presenting a pre-set five-course menu. With a station at the front and center of the room, Chef Rivera will discuss ingredients, demonstrate techniques, and answer questions along the way. After Chef Rivera demonstrates a dish, guests will be served that delectable course. The experience will end with the dessert course and a special dessert drink to wish guests a fond farewell.
