"We brought 22 team members for an offsite and everyone had a blast, with several saying it's been their favorite offsite. We were excited from the moment we entered the beautiful, sun-filled space of the renovated church on Guerrero. After a quick overview, we washed our hands, put on aprons, and started chop-chop-chopping. Some folks split off to cook sauces while most of us stayed at the prep table to make fresh spring rolls, which were fun and relatively easy to make and allowed for creative choices in ingredients and design....In preparation for the event, Sunshine was very helpful, responsive, and accommodating for those with dietary restrictions (vegetarian and gluten free). We were all excited when she followed up with the recipes so that we can recreate the dishes at home and impress our family and friends. "My team (~20) attended the Thai cooking class with Sunshine for our annual staff appreciation day activity. As the event coordinator, I was able to reach Sunshine easily through e-mail, which allowed for me to coordinate a date/time that worked for us both—she was extremely flexible and accommodating to our scheduling needs....On the day of the class, we arrived and Sunshine was energetic, funny, and welcoming to her space. The cooking class takes place in an old church, which makes for awesome lighting and enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. The facilities are clean, well-designed, and a great space to entertain. Sunshine had two assistants that kept the cooking portion moving. As we got started we were divided up into teams, given instructions, and printed recipes to reference if needed. Sunshine's instruction is fast and everyone is very involved with the cooking process - a true cooking class experience! Our team took 1.5 hours to cook and 1.5 hours to eat. We were also provided vegetarian options based on our staff needs. Overall everyone had a blast and would highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in a hands-on cooking class experience with a fantastic chef!" Justin M.
