Pretzel making at Angel Food Bakery
Although one could say pastry chef, Katy Gerdes, made a name for herself through a successful stint on Project Runway or through one of her many Cooking Channel appearances, it’s the phenomenal baked goods at her bakery, Angel Food, that has earned her a loyal following. With the necessary supplies and a gourmet-grade bakery at your fingertips, guests will learn the tricks of the trade from Katy and her team during this intimate, artisan pretzel-making party. Treat your group to this interactive experience and they’ll be creating pretzels like a pro in no time. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by the Angel Food staff. Pretzel dough will be pre-mixed and ready for twisting, providing you and your guests plenty of time to experiment with available mix-ins and toppings. Angel Food’s master bakers will explain step-by-step how to shape the perfect artisan pretzels before guests' creations go into the oven. While waiting for their masterpieces to finish baking, guests can mingle, munch on displayed charcuterie, take a turn concocting Angel Food’s famous Stella Artois Cheese Sauce, and enjoy a glass of thirst-quenching beer or house wine.
