Located in the heart of Miami’s art district of Wynwood, Coyo Taco is a trendy taqueria taking a farm-to-table approach to Mexican cuisine. Discover the newly opened ‘hidden’ bar behind the popular taqueria and enjoy inspired cuisine from the renowned Executive Chef and author Scott Linquist.
Upon arrival guests will walk to the back of the restaurant and through a blue door marked ‘Employees Only'. A short hallway will lead them to the ‘hidden’ bar, where they will have a choice of margaritas, sangria or beer and can mingle before the guacamole lesson with Chef Linquist begins. After a short demonstration, the guests will make their own guacamole with a variety of exotic ingredients. Chef Linquist will then serve as a judge to determine the best guacamole of the night. At the end, guests will indulge in their handcrafted guacamole, along with tacos, quesadilas and more drinks.

"The name of this Wynwood taqueria references Mexico City's hip, artsy neighborhood, while the street-food menu features freshly made tacos with fillings like duck or roasted pork shoulder, plus margaritas made with its own brand of tequila and mezcal. The cheery blue-fronted digs boast outdoor tables and an airy, modern feel, plus a hidden bar tucked to the rear." Zagat
"The small restaurant snagged Scott Linquist as its executive chef. Linquist has more than 20 years' experience, including serving as national executive chef of Dos Caminos Mexican Kitchen and executive chef at Border Grill, co-owned by Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger. The chef has also written a book, Mod Mex: Cooking Vibrant Flavors at Home." Miami New Times
