Even More Halloween Events To Book In 2018

Halloween is just around the corner. In between the pumpkins, fallen leaves and delicious hot ciders, let’s not forget the real reason for the season: getting your pants scared completely off. Last year, we went through and curated some of our favorite terrifying events live on-site already. But the more, the scarier as the old saying goes. With that in mind, we’ve scared up some eerily good events that have gone live on Kapow in the last year. Check them out below—if you dare!

Escape from a room with a zombie – Chicago

Think you’ve got what it takes to make it out of the zombie apocalypse alive? Well, hopefully you’ll never have to find out. In the meantime however, you can test your escape room chops in a high-pressure, high excitement with this exclusive event. Trapped in a room with diabolical and zombified Doctor Oxy, your group will have an hour to escape from his cell before he chows down on your gray matter. After you escape (or don’t!) from the room, Professor Von Guttenburg will evaluate your performance. He’ll explain how well you worked together, and what everyone’s role on the team was. Located just across from Grant Park in the Fine Arts building of the Chicago Loop, this exciting (and hair-raising) escape room event is convenient to get to and perfectly located.

Winchester Mystery House candlelight tour and dinner – San Jose

What’s scarier than having to explore one of the nation’s most haunted houses? Having to do it without the aid of electricity. Your guests will arrive to this exclusive Halloween event and make their way through the sprawling mansion said to house the angry ghosts of everyone slain by a Winchester rifle. The twist? They’ll have to do it by the light of a single candle provided by their tour guide. Inside the mansion’s bewildering corridors and decaying 19th century splendor, there’s no telling who—or what—you might run into. After they’ve braved the foreboding interior of Sarah Winchester’s final obsession, you and your group can shake off the chills with a dinner and drinks package on the grounds of the estate.

Zombie hunt – Las Vegas

Put the walking dead down for another (and hopefully more permanent) dirt nap with a zombie hunt gun range experience. After a brief demo from a range safety officer, guests will be directed to their private space and shooting lanes. There, you and your group will get to try their hand at shooting zombie themed range targets using all the best firearms from an apocalyptic action flick. Everything from an AK-47 to a 12-gauge shotgun to a Glock pistol. Kept your appetite? We hope so, because you and your group will also get to enjoy non-alcoholic beverages and stationed appetizers for the duration of the event.

If you’re curious to explore other Halloween events or just want to explore some frighteningly good experiences, check out Kapow.com for your event needs—whether they include zombies or not.
