Enhance Your Client Appreciation Event With A Boozy Takeaway

As the days grow shorter and the nights get colder, you may struggle to find an event that gets prospective and current clients away from their couches and Netflix queue. You’ve probably surmised that we’re leading you towards a winter cocktail reception—free drinks, some appetizers to nosh on and good company will go a long way. But it’s also important to keep the good vibes going past last call at your event. Thankfully there’s an easy way to keep the party going after the event ends: an alcoholic souvenir.

An event with an alcoholic takeaway will ensure that your guests will harbor warm feelings about the event (and you, by extension) every time they reach for their boozy souvenir. If you’re looking for some suggestions about where to start your search, we’ve compiled a few of our favorites below.

Old-Fashioned Mixology Demo at Pouring Ribbons, NYC

Buy a client an Old Fashioned, they’ll remember you for an evening. Teach a client to make an Old Fashioned, and they’ll remember you every time they break out the Angosutra bitters. At Pouring Ribbons’ East Village space, a master mixologist from Alchemy Consulting will lead guests through a mixology demo on how to make the perfect Old Fashioned.

After enjoying delicious appetizers and expert-crafted cocktails during the mixology demo, guests will leave the event with a Do-It-Yourself Old Fashioned kit that includes bitters, a sugar cube and a small bottle of Wild Turkey bourbon.

Distillery Tour and Spirit Infusion Class at Greenbar Distillery, Los Angeles

Los Angeles’s Greenbar Distillery—the city’s first since Prohibition—focuses on using local, organic ingredients and state-of-the-art equipment to produce spirits like no one else can in the city. Guests will arrive in the space and be invited to sip on cocktails and sample hors d’oeuvres before embarking on a guided tour of the distillery itself.

Your guests will end the evening back in the space’s private tasting room where an expert will take them on a taste-test of six spirits bottled onsite in the distillery itself, before leading a vodka infusion class. Your clients will leave the event with a one-of-a-kind infused vodka, perfect for staying warm during the winter holidays.

Beer Tasting at Craft Beer Cellar, Boston

Beer nerds of all persuasions are guaranteed to have a great time at Craft Beer Cellar’s beer tasting event. Professionally certified beer aficionados will lead your guests through a tasting of six different varieties of beer before letting them loose in the store to create their own six pack to enjoy at home.

Blind Wine Tasting at Murphy’s, Atlanta

Ever seen one of those blind cola taste tests and thought, “I could do that”? Test your wine palate with a better version of that at a blind wine taste test at Murphy’s. Guests will enjoy a 30 minute reception with stationed hors d’oeuvres and a signature welcome cocktail to loosen up for the main event.

Once everyone has arrived, a sommelier will guide them through a blind wine taste test, challenging attendees to determine what flavors each of the six, three oz. pours has while also determining its variety. Regardless of how well they do, everyone will receive a bottle of wine at the end of the event to take home.
