You Asked, We Delivered: New Features our Clients Requested

At Kapow, we’re always looking to improve our products and processes based on feedback from our customers. As the year comes to a close, we looked back at features we built in 2017 based on suggestions from you—our customers. Check them out below and contact your Account Manager to let us know how we can better help you plan events in 2018!

Chat via email

Your Kapow Account has a variety of great features for booking, managing and measuring the success of your event. You can request event ideas, upload a guest list, create invitations and RSVP pages, and send post-event surveys all from one place. But we know that you’re often on the go and don’t always have time to log into your account for simple requests. So you can now respond to Kapow requests and chat with your Account Manager via email, and we’ll push the conversation into your Kapow Account for you to reference later.

Add events to your calendar

Keep your event at the top of your client’s mind with this new feature. You and your guests can now add your event to your calendars with one click. The “Add event to calendar” button is now available on Kapow’s website and on the RSVP page, which leads us to our next feature.

Create multiple RSVP pages

One of the advantages of booking with Kapow is that you can split payments when you’re co-hosting an event with your channel partners. But we’ve received requests from customers asking to make it even easier to co-host an event. When you book with Kapow and upload your guest list, you have multiple options for inviting guests. You can create fully customizable invitations or design an RSVP landing page to send out on your own. Now, you can create multiple RSVP pages for one event. So if you and your channel partner each want branded landing pages for your specific guest lists, you can create multiple pages, invite guests to the appropriate page and track responses from your Kapow Account.

Customize your run of show

Kapow works with venues to package up corporate events so you don’t need to worry about the details. We select a menu, bar package and space, and even generate a run of show so you don’t have to take the time to do so. But we also understand that you may want to add in company-specific items like a welcome toast, product launch presentation or team awards. So after hearing your request, we’ve added a feature that allows you to make adjustments to your Kapow-generated run of show, giving you the best of both worlds.

So there you have it! Four great features that came from our valued customers. We hope they’ve made the process of planning events a little easier. Learn more about Kapow’s product features, start looking for events in your city or contact us to let us know how we can better help you in 2018!
