Events for Health-Conscious Clients

It’s that time again—time to make your New Year’s resolutions. After weeks of holiday meals, cookies and cocktails, we’re ready to get back in shape. And according to a Nielsen study, staying fit and healthy is the most common New Year’s resolution.

Events are a powerful way to gain much needed face time with clients after the holiday break. Valuable client relationships are forged when you spend time socializing and trying new things together. But we’re guessing your clients might be avoiding the happy hours and five-course meals for a while.  So, help clients work towards their resolutions and try one of the following health-inspired Kapow events. You are sure to forge a bond that will keep clients in tune with you and your brand for seasons to come.

Climb to the top

rock-climbingWith a fresh start and new resolutions, the start of the year can be very inspiring. So what better time to climb to the top—literally. Take clients or colleagues out for a fun—and active—adventure with a rock climbing event at Brooklyn Boulders. With certified instructors and a quick class, this event is perfect for people of all experience levels. Plus, your clients will always associate the high they felt when reaching the top of the wall with you and your brand. So, it’s a win-win!

Got matcha?

Health-conscious clients_1Harvested in Japan, matcha is one of the oldest and most premium forms of green tea. This superfood has been popping up everywhere from Starbucks to NBC’s Today Show set, and is internationally praised for its nutritional benefits. Treat your New York City clients to a matcha-whisking lesson followed by a matcha-infused dinner prepared by Soho’s Michelin-rated chef at Maman. Guests will depart with matcha tea samples (perfect to share at the office the next day while raving about the event) and a take home Panatea Mini Matcha Cookbook.

Get active with ping pong

blazing-paddles-cover_6Who says exercise has to be boring? Raise your heart rate and have some fun with a ping pong tournament at Game On in Boston. Located right next to Fenway in Max & Leo’s, Game On has 10 championship-style ping pong tables that your group can take over to host a ping pong tournament or team-building event. Your team will be burning calories before they even know it. And don’t forget to take breaks for some hors d’oeuvres and drinks.

Gear up for fitness

nike2_When it comes to starting a fitness plan, it’s important to have the right gear. Take your clients to the Nike store in Georgetown and treat them to some new shoes or clothes. The Nike+ Experts will be on hand to assist your guests in finding the gear that will help them reach and exceed their fitness goals. Our advice for this event: just do it.

Mix up guilt-free cocktails

Head out on the town in Philadelphia for fresh, cold-pressed juice cocktails and seasonal fare at Harvest Seasonal Grill. Known as the first restaurant in the city to incorporate fresh, cold-pressed juices into their cocktails, Harvest is the perfect place to treat clients to a hands-on, guilt-free mixology lesson, complete with farm-to-table snacks.

Sneak in some exercise

museumhacksfFor those that are not too keen to start sweating with their co-workers, try something active that’s a little more subtle—like the Museum Hack event at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. This interactive and creative event is a high-energy scavenger hunt through the de Young Museum. Guests will have a series of clues and a helpful guide, as they run around trying to finish the scavenger hunt before the other team. It’s guaranteed to raise that heart rate and produce a lot of laughs.
