Senior Year is a year-long documentary which follows the progress of fifteen senior class members during their last year at Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, CA, a school at the epicenter of an explosion of diversity that is reshaping the country. The result is an entertaining, provocative, and inspiring portrait of a generation on the verge of creating a new world. For the documentaryís website, the producing station, KCET, received a grant to produce a site that would highlight content from each episode as it aired, and gave special emphasis to the soundtrack that included many songs commissioned for the show, as well as scrapbooks kept by the students during this year. kapow's challenge was to design a site that suited the hip, youth-oriented content, while providing extensive, immersive content from the documentary.

Site features include:

Senior Year Radio, a pop-up boom box, allowing users to play the songs from the documentary while they browse the site.

A Stories section, linking to pages outlining the highlights of each of the 13 episodes of the show.

A Talkback section, featuring polls and message boards to solicit comments and opinions from the sitešs users.

A Postcards section, allowing users to send notes to friends about the show.

Numerous slide shows and video clips of different segments of the show.
