With this episode, sadly, KAPOW is coming to an end. We hope it will be a hiatus, not a permanent end. Producing KAPOW these past six months has been a full-time labor of love for us, made so much more fulfilling by the incredible support of you, our audience. The satisfaction of seeing people from around the world visiting our site, and the knowledge that those of you who e-mailed us and consistently logged in week after week enjoyed what you saw, has been the lifeblood of our work.
We have come to the point where reality, in the form of a stack of unpaid bills, has become an overriding factor which we can no longer ignore. We must now take time away from producing KAPOW to pursue more financially sustaining activities. We've produced KAPOW entirely on our own with the unbelievably altruistic and faithful help of Mace (Greg Martin), our other actors and our illustrator (Carvin Kidd), all of whom contributed their time and energy without a single dime of compensation. KAPOW could never have happened without them, and we are forever grateful. We are also indebted to those in the mainstream, trade, and on-line press who have written encouraging words about KAPOW and have honored us with a number of awards.
