Nielsohn denounced Harmia, promised to freeze any money his campaign received from Harmia and Fun Toy, and vowed to conduct a full investigation into the Caul sweepstakes. Sylvia began discussing her frustration with being cooped up in Mace's apartment when the phone rang. It was Marvin, summoning Mace to the Barca Lounge. There, 99 told him that the mug shots in the Oberlin police records had been digitally altered to conceal the identities of the original criminals. Just as she was about to show Mace the original photos which she had recovered, 99 disappeared.
